Job Description

Provides SAP (ECC6, EhP8) FICO functional support which includes business requirements analysis, system configuration, testing, training, and documentation. The FICO landscape includes:

• General ledger accounting,

• Financial reporting,

• Capital asset accounting,

• Treasury functions / banking,

• Accounts payable, and

• Revenue accounting / billing.

Participates in the design and implementation of new systems and modification of existing applications requiring in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices knowledge to improve products or services. Solves difficult to complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receiving minimal guidance. Acts as a resource to internal customers and mentors lower-level coworkers. Maintains support documentation as enhancements and new versions are developed / deployed.

Requirements

Accounting degree, accounting designation (e.g. CPA) required; additional BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field desired. Intermediate to Advanced level configuration knowledge of SAP (ECC6, EhP8) FICO. Configuration knowledge of S/4HANA FICO processes highly desirable. Relevant technical or industry experience will also be considered.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on SAP FICO experience in leveraging configuration and functionality capabilities and thorough knowledge of the integration with other ERP system modules as applicable.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant business processes.

• Participation in a full-cycle SAP implementation and / or system upgrade project is preferred.

• 3 years of industry experience is preferred.

• Fully developed interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively interact with team members and internal customers.

• Ability to take direction from superiors and contribute to departmental problem solving discussions.

• Requires the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Requires fully developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Nature of position requires ability to organize/prioritize duties and give attention to detail and accuracy in execution of duties. Must have demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment involving complex situations.
