Project Details:
Major Utility Client transitioning from legacy mainframe straight to SAP. Previous experience within Utilities industry involving SAP IS-U & migration from SAP R/3 (SAP ECC6.0) to SAP S/4 HANA highly desirable.

Client also seeks consultants with Application Portfolio Rationalization expertise

Application Portfolio Rationalization & Disaster Recovery Project:

• Participate within the Disaster Recovery Solution deployment to ensure that the holistic servic e to be provided is all encompassing.
  • Identify any interdependencies, system limitations and necessary remediation steps
• Participate in the Application Rationalization of the 350 application portfolio in alignment with the technology strategy & roadmap of the company
  • Identify redundant capabilities and solutions, recommend the best fit solution
  • Identify retirement roadmap for solutions
  • Identify the necessary upgrade cycle for applications & infrastructure, provide input to the planning process
• Develop standard architecture requirements best fit to the organizations size and capabilities
• Provide estimates and documented scope inputs for implementation of projects from related strategies

Long Term Project Goals:

• Facilitate the rationalization of incremental solutions through the intake process
• Proactively identify areas of opportunity within the business processes to further leverage the strategic solutions of the company (SAP, Microsoft, Workday)
• Participate in the initial planning and design stages of critical projects to ensure the necessary architect ure is implemented in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Facilitate the identification of technology solutions from business requirements
• Provide estimates and documented scope inputs for implementation of projects from related strategies
