Title: Accounting SAP ERP Consultant
Position Type: Contract, 6 Months
Location: Plano, TX (o Initially Work from Home but would go onsite in near future)
 
Description:
Looking for Business Resources/Accountants who have worked on SAP implementations, where they have obtained and refined user requirements, developed test strategies, testing tools, test scripts, data requests, developed training, performed testing, resolved defects, etc.
Need someone with who is specialized in ERP implementation in big enterprises
Technologies used by team – SAP – S4 HANA, ECC
Also, someone with accounting background is required
Experience in Agile/Scrum environment is plus
Would be working to gather business requirements and fast paced environment
 
ERP - PeopleSoft is the current application supporting the General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables has decided to replace PeopleSoft with SAP and update its downstream systems, deliverables, and business processes accordingly. Changes require updates to HFM, HFR Reports, and SmartView Spreadsheets.
 
This resource will act as a Functional Accounting Consultant for ERP Project and will work closely with General Manager Enterprise Systems (Project Leader) to develop accounting requirements, design and assist with system builds, testing, and deliverables implementation for our new ERP system. This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an SAP Implementation on the Accounting Group.
 
This role is focused on GL Accounting and Financial reporting experience (more of a true accounting role). This person will be working closely with managers and directors.
 
Must Haves:

• CPA

• Bachelor's degree

• General Accounting and Financial Reporting Experience

• SAP Implementation Experience
