Our client, a leading manufacturer, marketer, and seller of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care products , is hiring a Business Analyst (SAP) on a contract basis.

Work Location:

Bristol, PA (Onsite Presence Required 3-4 Times Weekly).

Summary:

Position Summary:As a Business Analyst, you will possess a deep understanding of business processes, process analysis and management, and their IT requirements.Your role will involve driving the definition, optimization, improvement, and approved changes to both new and existing business processes and IT solutions by developing business and functional requirements.You will also be responsible for managing process conformance and compliance, such as SOX requirements.Additionally, you may be tasked with developing and delivering documentation and training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Analyze business requirements, construct workflow charts and diagrams, and study system capabilities to write specifications.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and proposing improved procedures.
  • Define project requirements, milestones, phases, and elements; form project teams; and establish project budgets.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving issues, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
  • Provide user references by creating and maintaining user documentation, offering help desk support, and delivering user training.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Required Skills:

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Hardware and software support expertise. ( The job is asking for experience in upgrade of SAP -need to know networks/servers to support SAP system HWcomponents, such as processors, storage -SAP applications rely on a robust and well-configured network infrastructure. This involves understanding networking technologies, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and the configuration and optimization of network paths for SAP communication. Network reliability, bandwidth, and security are key considerations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Service accounts management.
  • Leadership in upgrade initiatives.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • ERP experience and application support background (a plus).
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

Functional Competencies:

  • Understanding of emerging technologies.

  • Business process modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of application domains.
  • Requirements definition and management.
  • Effective oral and written communication.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Functional knowledge of ERP modules and functionalities (e.g., SAP, Cornerstone).
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited universities with a strong academic record.

Pay Rate:$70 - $80 per hour.
