This position is for an SAP procure to pay functional consultant
Extensive SAP MM experience, including but not limited to
a. Procurement, MRP, Inventory management and Invoice verification
b. Strong knowledge of Procurement-related Master data objects and their dependencies
c. Strong experience with External Service Procurement, Subcontracting and Intercompany processes
d. Experience with Pricing, Source determination, Output determination, Automatic Account assignment processes
e. Good understanding of SRM, SUS processes and their integrations with SAP
f. Experience with Readsoft, MDG and Ariba integration with SAP

Strong ability to independently convert business requirements to Functional Designs
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Clear demonstration of the above capabilities/skills through previous assignments
The SAP Procurement Developer will work with the Demand business analysts and business clients to support and implement global processes primarily using standard SAP solutions as well as other systems interfaced with SAP to support the business process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with Demand business analysts and business personnel to understand the global Procure to Pay processes and provide the technology to support these processes
Strong knowledge in the chemicals industry is a plus. Global hands on experience in MM processes in the US, Brazil, Europe and Asia
Based on requirements submitted by the business, develop detailed functional and technical specifications for changes to the SAP ECC system
Consult with developers (ABAP and other) and provide technical specs to develop customized or interfaced solutions
Build solution:
o Perform configuration in SAP
o Perform unit / integration testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments, including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change.
o Provide input and suggestions based on knowledge of area of responsibility
o Provide prototypes of new functionality based on client needs

KEY COMPETENCIES:
8 - 10 years of SAP MM experience with responsibilities in design, configuration, implementation, and support,
Competency configuring end-to end Procure to Pay processes including Procurement, MRP, Inventory management and Invoice verification
o Strong knowledge of Procurement-related Master data objects and their dependencies
o Strong experience with External Service Procurement, Subcontracting and Intercompany processes
o Experience with Pricing, Source determination, Output determination, Automatic Account assignment processes
o Good understanding of SRM, SUS processes and their integrations with SAP
Solid understanding of Readsoft, MDG and Ariba integration with SAP
o Cross-functional integration knowledge with Finance, Plant Maintenance, Production and Warehouse management areas
Ability to analyze business requirements and map those to SAP business processes,
o Solid experience writing functional design specifications for changes to SAP systems,
o Experience working with ABAP developers and providing technical specs to develop customized solutions,
o Experience performing unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc), including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted
Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical user.
