RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a SAP ERP Project Manager in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ).

Summary:
The SAP ERP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Building and managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles are central to this position. The ideal candidate has IT Projects with experience in ERP implementations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Translate company business requirements into business solutions utilizing ERP system functionality; Act as liaison between executive and management staff, end users, and information technology staff to design and configure business solutions to ensure business requirements have been met
  • Manage and coordinate project development from initiation to closure
  • Accountable for overall project results
  • Work with functional management to complete project scope, goals, deliverables, budget and timing
  • Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
  • Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and clearly communicate expectations to internal staff
  • Act as a mediator between marketing and internal staff
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved by the change control board
  • Manage staff levels to ensure project completion
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide weekly status reports to Manager to PMO
  • Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
  • Complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
  • Complete project documentation following project completion
  • Regularly communicate with external customers and communicate plans, manage expectations and follow-up to determine customer satisfaction
