Compensation (Range): $20.00 - $25.00/ hour

We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a SAP COORDINATOR I. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a SAP COORDINATOR will include:

• Maintain customer and internal order matrix (check PO's to make sure the customer is ordering the correct level)
• Ensure all pre-series, PV units and other pre-launch units are built & delivered on time (customer and internal)
• Verify inventory is available for pre-series builds
• Gather, build, pack, and ship engineering orders per schedule
• Coordinate with the logistics team when parts can be built
• Process Sales orders (ship parts through SAP)
• Ensure there are enough components available to cover customer plant, customer engineering,
• Present at builds to address issues as they arise
• Pack, label, ship pre-production builds

Job Requirements

As a SAP COORDINATOR you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• Experience in the automotive industry, model shop, logistics, or launch coordination preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to plan, coordinate, track, monitor, and maintain part ordering and ensure on-time delivery to support each program build
• Ability to maintain multiple requests at one time
• Ability to communicate verbally (in person and by phone) and in written form with all levels of the organization
• Experience with SAP software is preferred (and a willingness to learn other related applications)
• Ability to work and build relationships in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to travel to plants in the U.S. and Mexico
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and parts of light to moderate weight
