Role: SAP Basis Admin

Duration: 6 months (960hrs)

Location: Orlando, FL.

GOAL:

Our Client has embarked on a multi-phase SAP Project. This phase of the project will redesign and blueprint the master data elements to properly integrate the Budget, Finance, and Grants modules in SAP. The project will blueprint Budget Control System (BCS), Grants Management Grantee, the New General Ledger, and the required integration with other SAP modules/applications (e.g. SRM, Project Systems, HCM) currently used by OCPS.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The SAP Basis Administrator would need to have at least 7+ years of experience. This Candidate will be part of a team responsible for the support of the SAP Application. The Candidate will be focused on providing technical support on SAP systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation. This Candidate performs a variety delivering systems analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation and maintenance activities for the enterprise business system

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Perform monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting and solution recommendations.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, explores alternatives, recommend outcomes and establish a course of action to accomplish specific goals.
  • Ability to provide analytics with documentation on business requirements and options to implement those requirements.
  • This position requires a fair amount of critical thinking and problem solving with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines.
  • Manage own workload, accurately estimate effort for tasks, and work with business users on priorities/goals, and work towards meeting those goals.
  • Perform SAP Transports throughout the landscape and maintain the transport management system.
  • Maintain and update SAP spool system and scheduled jobs.
  • Perform problem analysis and resolution.
  • Perform client copies, system copies, and system refreshes.
  • Install patches and perform system configuration including support for off-shift maintenance events. Configure and maintain RFCs.
  • Perform database maintenance and management.
  • Perform SAP security functions, such as user and role management
  • The position generally requires over 80% travel to customer location (Orlando, FL)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of supporting SAP Basis Administration in a full life-cycle support from end to end.
  • 2+ years of SAP HANA.
  • Must have either implemented or supported in SAP ECC 6.0 environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft SQL and Oracle environment
  • 3+ years of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple infrastructures and business functions.
  • 3+ years of leading and co-ordinate work for small to medium projects, improving business processes
