A Materials Exceptions Analyst is needed for a contract position with a premier York, PA manufacturing company (January - May/June 2019).

This role will:
* Analyze and track SAP material flow errors (COGI and IDOC exception errors)
* Work closely with Supply Chain Operations, Materials Ops, Engineering, Finance and Plant Operations to resolve and reprocess errors for timely processing of data within SAP.
* Be responsible for root cause analysis of COGI, IDOC and any other system errors, recommends and implements solutions with the goal of reducing/eliminating similar errors.
* Have KPI's that will include, but are not limited to the number of COGI and IDOC errors (with a trend downward) and time to resolution based on sustainable process improvements.
* Be responsible for tracking business process health metrics and daily reporting to stakeholders.
* Interface with the Data Stewards to address SAP exceptions in a timely fashion.

Qualifications include:
* Manufacturing Supply Chain experience & SAP system
(An understanding of all end to end material flow processes -ordering process for various types of parts, stock levels, the inventory control processes, Bill of Material, material movement, supplier compliance requirements, new parts inventory, obsolete parts process, and reference & transactional data to support SAP problem solving initiatives)
* High level of both verbal and written communication in order to be able to accurately communicate existing processes and areas of opportunity.
* Understanding of both standard work process and SAP system process
