As a member of our Information Technology application support team you will provide expertise and insight into Integrated Business Planning capabilities and associated processes for our Demand Management, Sales Operations Planning, and Operations Planning and Replenishment processes. Reporting to the IT Manager, Supply Chain Systems you will provide support to groups related to your area of expertise, as well as support to other activities and initiatives within the expanded IT scope of responsibilities. Key responsibilities Accountable for IT solutions that support Supply Chain processes in the area of Planning. Develop long-term, qualitative working relations - internal/external. Analyze and understand the business's needs and priorities. Document internal business user and functional specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and task and workflow analysis in moderate to highly complex supply chain environments. Prepare documentation on expected benefits, use cases, current/proposed process, workflows, data flows, process re-engineering studies, functional specifications, risk integration, end-user adoption plans/ guides and organization structures. Accountable for facilitating the implementation, technical maintenance and post implementation support of the Applications in scope. Interact with Technical resources to ensure that questions and discrepancies about specifications are resolved during the solution development process plus on-going maintenance and support. Serve as an internal consultant in the areas of forecasting and statistical forecasting models; predictive analytics; S OP processes; End-to-End business planning; and inventory optimization strategies. Work closely with Supply Chain to gain business knowledge and provide usable business processes and IT solutions. Business focus areas: (1) increases in capacity utilization and on-time order shipments; (2) reductions in E2E inventory, production costs, and order-to-delivery times; (3) and the optimization of the processes of demand management, supply and distribution planning, production planning, production scheduling, and available-to-promise (ATP). Technical and functional focus areas: OM Partners? supply chain application modules (Forecasting, S OP, Operations Planning Scheduling, Global Data Manager), and its integration with SAP ECC (PP, MM SD). The role requires a good understanding of configuration and related master data objects (sales orders, delivery notes, ATP, BOMs, recipes, work centers, etc.), as well as transactional data (process orders, planned orders, STOs). Define a clear vision for the software product/application and responsible for multi-generation product strategy. Identify and prioritize the product features by business value. Serve as the IT business lead for the integration of potential acquisitions.
