Description

Morton Salt, an American company and leading producer of salt in North America for food, water conditioning, industrial, agricultural, and road/highway use is seeking a talented individual to join IT team as a Senior Business Process Lead - SAP Controlling. 

 

The process lead will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the SAP Controlling solutions for the K+S Group companies. The jobholder will work closely with other IT functional leads and user departments to gather the business requirements and provide solutions using industry standard SAP best practices. That person will also be responsible for supporting the business with their day to day activities.

 

Responsibilities

Configuration and support of SAP FI & CO modules with extensive knowledge in CO module.
Excellent knowledge in the integration of SAP FICO modules with MM,SD, etc.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI CO best practices & business processes.
Strong knowledge in Intercompany Business Processes.
Collaborates with business and technical teams on design, development, and solution management.
Leads or participates in functional and business requirements gathering sessions.
Designs, develops, and conducts test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests and system integration tests.
Successfully handle multiple projects, completing them on time and on budget.
Work closely with other team members, locally and globally, with proactive sharing of expertise, to improve and ensure team success.
Recommend operational continuous improvement opportunities, service efficiency initiatives, and business process improvement to better serve business needs.
Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 functionality with 2-3 full life-cycles implementations.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge in Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing & COPA.
Good knowledge in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables & Fixed Assets.
Basic skills in building BW queries.
Experience in BW Integrated Planning tool & BPC.
Highly motivated and creative, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet the timelines.
Strong problem solving, trouble shooting  and analytical skills.
Proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
Ability to interact and work closely with business users.
Working in distributed team environments, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
 

Education Qualification:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related preferred.
