SAP Business Systems Analyst

The SAP Business Systems Analyst, Clinical Supply Services joins a team of talented, creative, and motivated SAP Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, Project and People Managers, that are members of the Global ERP Demand-to-Supply Team. This global team provides primarily SAP-based solutions and services to our Global Clinical Supply Chain business functions.
The Clinical Supply solution leverages Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) modules along with custom solutions, and integrations to various manufacturing and other systems.
In order to support both a regional and global user community, this role requires flexibility in work hours. Fluent English language skills are required. The position is based in South San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd/3rd level support working directly with business users
Contribute to a solution delivery by working with cross-functional IT teams following change and release management processes
Participate in design and build of reliable, scalable and maintainable GxP solutions; Configure, test, deploy new, and maintain and enhance existing system functionalities
Create system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test plans and scripts, installation scripts, OQs/PQs, training materials
Ensure system compliance and audit readiness by following SDLC and computer system validation methodology
Provide content knowledge on Incident, Problem, and Change management processes to appropriate IT teams
Support business organization in creation of work instructions, training, etc. as needed
Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and ensure efficiencies with solutions delivery

Qualifications:
Youre someone who wants to influence your own development, have experience working in cross-functional, multi-cultural global (dispersed) teams, and supporting multi-time zone end-user communities. For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
3-5 years of SAP functional experience in supply chain management/logistics with Material Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM)
3-5 years of customer service experience in IT support is required
Fluent English verbal and written language skills; Strong communication and collaboration skills is a must
Detailed knowledge of supply chain and clinical business processes and experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other compliant environment is required
Experience with Sales and Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI), Quality Management (QM) modules desirable; Experience with label design and printing is beneficial
ABAP development experience is advantageous
Experience using tools such as HPSM, HP-ALM, DMS is beneficial
Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Must be a self-starter, results-oriented and have a track record of timely delivery of high-quality solutions

Education:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant business discipline
